Newcastle Window and Door Repairs was set up to do one job properly: repair windows and doors. Repairs are at the heart of our business. We can supply replacement windows, but only recommend them when a sound repair is genuinely not possible.
With over 10 years in the trade, we have worked on nearly every uPVC, composite, aluminium and timber system fitted across the region over the last thirty years.

How we work
Every job starts with a proper diagnosis. A stiff window might be a worn friction stay, a dropped sash or simply a gasket that has swollen, and each has a different fix. We look at the whole window or door, explain what we have found in plain language. We provide a free in-person quotation before work begins. Clear photographs can sometimes help us estimate sooner, but many faults need to be seen.
Our vans carry a wide range of hinges, handles, cylinders, mechanisms, seals and consumables, so most repairs are completed on the first visit. Made to measure glass is the usual exception, and even then we can secure the property first and return with the unit.

Standard hours are 8am to 5pm, with a genuine 24 hour emergency call out for insecure properties. If a door will not lock at midnight, that is exactly the sort of call we expect.
