Newcastle Window and Door Repairs was set up to do one job properly: repair windows and doors. Repairs are at the heart of our business. We can supply replacement windows, but only recommend them when a sound repair is genuinely not possible.
We work on uPVC, timber and aluminium windows and doors, in single, double and triple glazing, for homes and businesses across the whole North East.

How we work
Our approach is to understand the problem before suggesting work. The same stiff opening could involve a friction stay, sash position or swollen gasket, so we inspect rather than guess. You receive an explanation you can understand and a free quotation at the property before we begin. Photographs sometimes allow an earlier estimate; an inspection is normally needed to establish the price.
Stock on our vans includes cylinders and mechanisms as well as hinges, handles, seals and consumables. Having these to hand lets us finish most jobs during the initial appointment. Glass ordered to the opening's measurements generally needs another visit. In the meantime, an insecure opening can be made secure.

Standard hours are 8am to 5pm, with a genuine 24 hour emergency call out for insecure properties. If a door will not lock at midnight, that is exactly the sort of call we expect.
